Setting up shipping options

At this stage we only allow for two shipping options: free & flat rate shipping. Additional options will be added at a later stage as and when they are required.

Free shipping

If you choose 'free shipping' as your shipping option it means exactly that: no shipping will be charged on any of the orders on your store. You either need to pad your product prices so that no extra shipping costs are necessary, or absorb the cost of shipping on your side.

Flat rate shipping

If you choose 'flat rate shipping' you can configure shipping per country and also indicate a fallback option for the rest of the world. You can specify multiple options per country such as standard and priority. Once you set a country-specific shipping option (e.g. shipping to your own country) then the 'worldwide' option is for the rest of the world (outside of country you selected).

Each option has a flat rate that gets applied once to the entire order of items, or alternatively you can set a shipping rate to zero if you want to enable a collections option.
